Access to the Styx River is off the Kokatahi/Lake Kaniere circuit road approximately 1km on the Lake Kaniere side of the Mark Wallace Styx River bridge.
I did this tramp with my friends Peter ( Plodd ), Saskia and Delwyn ( Del ).
As always, the scenery in the West Coast mountains was awesome. The air was fresh, the birds were singing, the weather was brilliant & the damn mosquitoes were biting. We did a 4 day tramp which started on an early Thursday evening after work.
